How do I get started?
Sign up through our waitlist at northstarrobotics.ai/earn. Once accepted, you'll receive task assignments via text or email. Open the Northstar app, follow the recording instructions, and submit your video to get paid.
How much can I earn?
Earnings vary by task type and duration. Tasks typically pay between $5 and $30 each. The more tasks you complete and the higher your quality rating, the more tasks you'll be offered.
What kind of tasks will I do?
Tasks include everyday activities like cooking meals, folding laundry, organizing shelves, cleaning surfaces, and other household or workplace tasks. You'll receive specific instructions for each recording session.
How is my video data used?
Your recordings are used exclusively to train AI models for robotics and embodied intelligence. Videos are processed to extract movement patterns, object interactions, and spatial data. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
My recording was rejected. What do I do?
Recordings may be rejected if the video quality is too low, the task wasn't completed as instructed, or the camera angle didn't capture the required activity. Check the rejection reason in the app and re-record. If you believe the rejection was an error, contact us at contact@northstarrobotics.ai.
I haven't received my payment. What should I do?
Payments are typically processed within a few hours of task approval. If you haven't received payment after 24 hours, please check your payment method is set up correctly in the app, then contact us at contact@northstarrobotics.ai with your task ID and we'll resolve it immediately.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, email contact@northstarrobotics.ai with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 5 business days in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
